Wahl Street is a jazz quintet led by saxophonist Greg Wahl. With a repertoire of original compositions influenced by hard-bop, contemporary jazz, and indie rock, Wahl Street brings a distinctive blend of music to the CO jazz scene. In addition to the band’s leader, the group is made up of renowned local musicians Daryl Gott (alto sax), Annie Booth (piano), Patrick McDevitt (bass), and Paul Romaine (drums). Greg Wahl is a saxophonist from Boulder, CO who has proven to be a skilled composer and improvisor in the jazz idiom, and has performed with some of the Denver area’s top players.

Daryl Gott is a saxophonist from Denver CO, who brings a fresh sound to jazz by fusing classic and modern jazz influences.

Annie Booth is a versatile pianist, composer, and bandleader from the Denver area who has performed around the world, and received acclaim for her innovative compositions and musical style.

Patrick McDevitt is a talented upright and electric bassist from Parker, CO who performs with some fantastic local groups including The Annie Booth Trio, and Funky Fresh Trio.

Paul Romaine is a world class jazz drummer who has made a huge impact on the Colorado music scene both as a performer and an educator. Paul Romaine founded the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, and teaches at the University of Colorado’s Thompson Jazz Studies Program in Boulder.
